I’m Suzy and I own Suzy Stick It. I have always loved stationery and, as a child, used to hoard my supplies to save them for “special occasions”. My Great-Grandma always gave me something stationery-related at Christmas (a tiny notepad large enough only for a word per page or some teeny pencils) and I adored them (and her!). Now I love to express myself both at work with beautiful stationery and with friends by personalising gifts.
In my spare time I bake and decorate celebration cakes, I knit, crochet and have just re-discovered the pleasures of colouring books.
As a child I was known by my father as Suzy Stick It because of the hours spent cutting out images from product catalogues and creating new scenes in reams of plain paper and I’d not really thought of the nickname in years, until the idea for my little business arose.
The wonder of stationery was somewhat side-lined amongst the bustle of living and working in London until I bought my first paper “planner” since university and joined a few Facebook groups on the recommendation of a friend.
For anyone interested in converting to a paper diary I recommend Erin Condren, Plum Paper Planner , InkWELL or Kikki K. I also stock Heidi Swapp Memory Planners and Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planners, both of which are beautiful and very different from each other. For anyone interested in purchasing their first Erin Condren, you can receive $10 off by using the following link and registering: https://www.erincondren.com/referral/invite/suzannenethaway1208
After six months of paying excessive shipping costs for stickers and washi tape from abroad, and hearing the same complaints from a number of others, I decided to try and import those items that I really wanted and to then sell them on to my friends. The sole aim is to ensure that we all get what we want for a lower overall cost.
My initial idea has grown and I currently have over 800 products for sale. The range of items is coupled with a genuine desire to make your shopping experience special. I have sourced some gorgeous packing envelopes and will pack every order by hand. I’ll even add a complimentary washi sample for you – you are, after all, not just my customers but my crafting friends!
If you can’t find something particular or are looking for a brand I don’t currently supply, feel free to drop me a line through the customer service link and I will do my best to see whether we can source those items for you.
I’d be delighted for your feedback on the website and your whole shopping experience. I would love you to feel like one of the family and I look forward to receiving your first order!
And if you want to keep in touch you can join the Store’s Facebook group here or find us on Twitter and Instagram @suzystickit. I’ll see you there!
Lots of Love,
